I wrote this a while back while thinking of loved ones that had passed away. I know some times it’s hard to understand why we lose some one. “What is the reason behind it,” we sometimes ask ourselves.
Sometimes, there just may never seem to be a good answer. So what do we do? Let me give you a quote from the scriptures:
“1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” — John 14:1-3
Reflect and think on this: I have never heard a good answer from man, but through our Lord Jesus through His Word. When we trust in God, we can get through these trying times — knowing that He wants us with Him in our Fathers house. In His time we will allbe with him.
The Loved One
By Hebert WrightAs I sit and think of thing that’s past
I remember those their memories last
I hear their voice I see their face
In my heart they’ll always hold a place
I know I’m not the only one
Who’s lost a friend or a dear loved one
The pain of loss is always there
But take comfort for there’s others who care
I’m thankful that God is always here
To help us go on and wipe our tears
I know I’ll see them once again
On heavens street where they’ll be no end
In Gods own words he made it clear
He’ll never leave you, so do not fear
I pray for all that felt a loss
But God for us paid the ultimate cost
